What this site collects, and why

This is a small freelance business site. Nothing here is sold to advertisers or data brokers, and every tool below runs on infrastructure I control — not handed off to a third-party ad-tech platform.

Analytics

Self-hosted Umami. It does not use cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Visits are counted using a one-way daily hash of your IP address and browser — I never see or store your raw IP, and no visitor can be identified or tracked across visits or other sites.

Error monitoring

Self-hosted Glitchtip (Sentry-compatible). If something breaks while you're using the site, a technical report (what broke, which page, browser type) is sent so I can fix it. Your IP is processed briefly as part of that report and is not used for tracking.

Contact form

The contact form is provided through an embedded form widget hosted on my own infrastructure. When you submit it, the details you provide are used only to reply to your enquiry — not for marketing, not shared with anyone else.

Cookies

Analytics and error monitoring above use no cookies at all.

The contact form widget sets one functional cookie to remember your language preference inside the form. It isn't used to track you and only appears if you open the form.

Where your data lives

Everything above runs on my own servers — enquiries, error reports, and analytics data never pass through Google, Meta, or any other third-party platform.
